Insight from Jenny Schwieger
Meet Jenny Schwieger
![]() Jenny Schwieger
Jenny Schwieger grew up in Barbados and Panama, the daughter of Hope and Bill Livingston, Church of God missionaries. While she was a teenager, she dedicated her life to service wherever God led. She returned to the U.S. to attend Anderson College, and after completing her studies in Music and Elementary Education, she married Ruben Schwieger who was the son of Church of God missionaries in Kenya. This set the stage for ministry in the church, both within and outside the United States.
They served together in Kenya, East Africa where their two children were born. After returning to the United States, she was ordained and served as a pastor and, with her husband, as a co-pastor. During this time she served on the National Women of the Church of God Board for 38 years, holding three national offices. She has been and is currently a CWC state president. She is currently the 2nd Vice President of the NAWCG. She has led by herself or with her husband multiple ministry teams to at least 14 different countries as well as to World Conferences in Kenya, Germany, and Korea. To assist those who wish to create Ministry Teams or participate in them, she has developed a resource booklet which is available on request. In addition, she is available to come to your church or CWC unit to assist personally in creating a Team for international ministry. |
