Oak Award for Christian Service

The 80th anniversary is often celebrated as the "Oak Anniversary." Christian Women's Connection is celebrating its Oak Anniversary by awarding distinguished women with the Oak Award for Christian Service.

This award celebrates women of all ages (living or deceased) who have embodied courage, endured life's challenges, and exemplified strength for today and hope for tomorrow. These women should be those with an affiliation with Christian Women's Connection.

Nominations were accepted through July 1, 2012. All nominees were selected as Oak Award recipients.

Women are Honored
Nominated women will be honored during the Thanksgiving Season, and will receive:

• a plaque displaying her name and the name(s) of her nominator(s)
• a printed certificate
• a copy of the 80th Anniversary Commemorative Book, which will list her name and biography.
