All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)

Communicating the Word of God is done in so many ways now. How many ways is the Word of God experienced? A favorite hymn or song rings from the depth of our heart, bellowing out the words of passages, such as, “As the deer panteth for the water. So my soul longeth after thee. You alone are my heart’s desire. And I long to worship thee. Chorus: You alone are my strength ______________.” Was it easy to finish the sentence and remember the lyrics and melody? This is scripture from the book of Psalm 42. The Word of God is communicated through many different songs.

From the east to the west, thousands of female pastors are sharing scriptures through preaching in the pulpits of their church to radio programs, social media platforms, online videos, conference stages, podiums, and more. The Word of God is shared verbally through teaching and study in churches, universities, and schools around the world. Our Church of God radio ministry called Christians Broadcasting Hope has eight language broadcasts that are all produced by indigenous teams around the globe. The Word of God is communicated in many languages through preaching and teaching.

Before our wonderfully bound and woven, leather Bibles, God’s desire was for us to receive and have His Word written down. God chose Moses as one who would share a written account of scripture. The Lord said to Moses in Exodus 24, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”

Currently, we see scriptures online and through social media. We’ve seen countless memes with scripture. A meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to online. There are over 400 memes with scriptures on Pinterest. Better yet, do a search on Google for “scripture memes.” There are over 7 million that took only .6 seconds to find. All those scriptures are teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training their viewers in righteousness.

Our theme of Equip Life – through scripture will hand you several ways to creatively plan with your women in mind. Teach, rebuke, correct, and train your way into a place where we can all be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Ladies, let us become thoroughly equipped and ready for good work in the local church, community, and the Kingdom of God. We are amazing women and our God has equipped us to communicate His Word effectively through song, preaching, teaching, writing, social media, art, and more! We can do anything we put our minds to do especially if we have the Word of God written on the tablets of our hearts.
