Apply to be the next 2018-2019 Christian Women Connection Young Ambassador!Congratulations McKenzie Meadows! “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to "My plans now since I have graduated are to attend Tennessee Technological University in the fall and major in neonatal nursing" McKenzie pictured with Jeanie Lee - Tennessee Christian Women Connection, State President "After joining Christian Women Connection, I have
began to share experiences of church and ministries in the church where I attend, such as a local sex trafficking event that a church member put together in order to spread awareness and love to young boys and girls. This ministry really put into perspective the kind of love we should all have for one another. I would also encourage teenage students to pick their priorities wisely during their high school experience. Always putting God first and the plan that He has for you will guarantee success." Kentucky Christian Women Connection honors Sherry Louise Good with their 2018 Memorial Award.5/11/2018
![]() The Memorial Award for 2018 was presented to the Elkhorn City First Church of God CWC in honor of Sherry Louise Good, their CWC President at the time of her death. Sherry was highly respected and loved by her peers and friends. She was a nurse at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Williamson KY for 34 years in the intensive care unit. She loved being a nurse, a grandma and also to read and do crafts. She was a member of the Elkhorn City First Church of God. Her friends say of her that she was a good worker, a good worker in the church, volunteered to do as much as possible, a good person, committed to church and the Lord, and always willing and eager to do more. She was always eager to try new mission projects with the CWC ladies; they collected pill bottles one year to send to veterans care. She sang in the choir, had just been elected as superintendent of Sunday School at her church, and was the President of the local Christian Women Connection at Elkhorn City First Church of God.
